Most new credit cards that come with the payWave or PayPass don’t allow you to deactivate the feature but you can still make purchases with a signature or pin. You don’t have to select savings, cheque or credit as the transaction will automatically be charged to your credit card.
What is pay Pass and pay Wave?
The most significant feature of payWave and PayPass is that the payment is made in seconds and the user does not have to enter his PIN or provide his signature. However, for making transactions above Rs 2,000, the user has to swipe his debit card and enter his ATM PIN to make payments.

No. You can’t get cash out using Visa payWave. But if you have transaction accounts linked to your card and the merchant allows the ‘cash out’ option, you can get cash by either pressing the ‘cheque’ or ‘savings’ button after swiping your card or inserting it into the terminal.
