It is our Bereavement Volunteers who come into immediate contact with the bereaved people who seek help from Cruse. They give one to one support or counselling or facilitate bereavement support groups. Anyone can apply to be a Bereavement Volunteer.

None of what Cruse achieves would be possible without the passion, dedication and skills of our volunteers. During the coronavirus pandemic we need our volunteers more than ever. We are not offering face-to-face services but there are opportunities to provide support from home, volunteer for your local area or take shifts on our National Helpline.
