Does COMC sell fake cards?

They have a very liberal return policy for an counterfeit or altered cards that they’ve sold, and that includes ones in graded holders that got past PSA, BGS, or SGC. They now charge the original submitter $10 for every counterfeit or altered item that was submitted to them and remove it from sale from their site.

What is a card repack?

A repack generally means that someone took the box apart first (often using box mapping tools), took out some of the more valuable cards (Things like Snapcaster Mage and Liliana of the Veil ) then resealed the packs with the other cards intact.

Are there fake sports cards?

Modern fakes and reproductions generally fluoresce under a black light due to brighteners in the paper. Most older cards do not. Modern fakes usually can’t reproduce the high quality printing of the authentic baseball cards. By magnifying the card, you will usually reveal the dots produced by a modern printer.
